a friend of mine brought illustrator kate t. williamson to my attention and i cannot thank her enough (tina, you’re the best!). her watercolors are bright and whimsical, yet are very thoughtful and reflective. she’s produced several books. i especially love a year in japan, devoted to the time she spent in kyoto. just lovely. (it is also worth noting that ms. williamson also does some wonderful pet portraits. so very cute.) here’s another stunner from her year in japan series.
