my friend allison just sent me this link to a special new york times t magazine inauguration piece featuring 52 portraits of president obama’s top advisors, aides and administration. shot by renowned photographer nadav kander, these portraits are AMAZING. i especially love the portraits of chief of staff rahm emanuel and deputy chief mona sutphen (both above). they look (respectively) ready to get things done and visionary, exactly what i think the administration needs to be.
