For those of you without Jessica’s long luxurious locks who have none the less been bitten by the braiding bug, might I humbly suggest a delicious loaf of challah bread. It’s yummy as french toast and won’t make you look like Pippi Longstocking. Here’s a recipe from Epicurious. You should definitely also run some cardamom pods through your coffee grinder and braid up some pulla like your Finnish grandma used to make. Your guests will be staggered.
